I accompanied a friend for their wisdom teeth removal, and while the individual staff was courteous, when we arrived the following sequence of events occured. The quote we received was significantly more than the quote given over the phone, and my friend informed them she was willing to use their payment plan, which is through a third party. As we began going through the process to apply for this third party payment plan, they requested information that I felt was unsafe to give, though my friend had little other choice, and filled out the application as required. It took a half hour extra, delaying the appointment, and at the end my friend was denied on the basis that their bank isn't common enough. We were told the only other payment plan option required us to pay interest, and they would not operate without payment upfront, either through approval of a payment plan or through paying the entire amount today. That is an incredibly predatory practice, in my opinion, and altogether delayed the appointment time by almost a full hour. My friend will not be returning, I will personally never allow this practice to operate on myself, and I will be encouraging anyone I know to avoid this place and their sketchy behavior.

Doctor Tesi was amazing as well as her whole team, all my questions were answered which made me feel less nervous about my surgery! Post recovery was not so bad as long as you do what they tell you!

The team here was awesome, everything was really easy to get rolling. I came in for a consultation and they took some xrays, a week later i was scheduled to get 2 wisdom teeth removed... highly recommend the iv sedation lbvs... so i showed up at my appointment time, 12pm, and within 20 minutes they were prepping me for surgery... next thing i knew it was 430 pm and i was waking up at my house on the couch. My jaw itself was sore for about 2 weeks, but my gums and the sockets experienced little to no pain, and by the 4th day i was back to brushing and flossing and eating like normal. My insurance only covered part of the procedure, but they have multiple financing options available... really easy applications and immediate responses for approval/denial... overall a great experience... if i ever need to get an oral surgery again, these are the ones i want working on me.

At first I wasn't sure about permanent implants, but I remember seeing my parents struggle their whole adult life with dentures. So I took my time to look into the all on 4 implant procedure. I wasn't sure who to trust so I visited four different implant centers and asked a lot of questions. I looked up the medical credentials of the person's doing the surgery. Dr. Maliks background knowledge and experience made my choice easy. I would trust him with my life and my smile.I think Dr. Malik is very selective about his team. Everyone is so professional, Dr. Jane and Dr.Grassy took over after Dr. Malik worked his magic , removing my bad existing teeth and surgically placed my implants. After surgery, I was givin a set of beautiful temporary teeth to wear during the healing process. I never felt a thing. I also thank Brian Brewer for assisting to find financing. The receptionists are well organized and very polite. Choosing Dr. Malik and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Chicago is a guarantee to a successful process
