Office Sterilization
At Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Chicago, the safety of our patients and team members is our top priority. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have thoroughly reevaluated our sterilization protocols and implemented enhanced safety measures across all dental procedures. Our team strictly adheres to guidelines set by federal agencies including the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
We use personal protective equipment, disinfectant hand soap, gloves, face masks, chemical disinfectants for surfaces, and sterilize all reusable equipment with advanced devices that apply steam, heat, and pressure. Disposable materials are also used to minimize risk. Our commitment to infection control and transparency ensures that both patients and staff can feel confident and safe. We encourage open communication and welcome any questions about our updated sterilization procedures. To take the next step in your oral health, contact one of our conveniently located offices in Chicago (South Loop or Midway), Orland Park, Oak Lawn, or Burr Ridge, or request an appointment online.
